Ticket prices for Q/Final

Just a Point or 2:~
The game is being played in the only place it can be. A full Welford Road will be superb, a half empty crisp bowl well no thanks. [Half empty yes, I and I suspect many other season ticket holders would not have gone.]
If you follow Tigers & are not a season ticket holder, my bet is Stade will have loads to spare, why not try their site in a few days? A safer bet than waiting for any returns, that will in first instance go to those people who have the limited season tickets.

Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me, I may not lead.
Walk beside me and be my friend.

The atmosphere at the 2 games @ walkers was shocking and imho contributed a great deal to the teeam losing. It's as good as playing the match away.westwinds31 wrote:The Walkers Stadium is a perfectly good arena, modern and you can see the game from wherever you are seated. The atmosphere is also pretty good.
Lets go to Welford Road and shout Stade out of the game (like we did at munster )!

westwinds is 100 % right, IMO.
To say that the atmosphere at the Walkers last year was shocking is, frankly, absurd. The atmosphere was excellent, to say otherwise is just demonstrating a prejudice against the Walkers. Such prejudice clearly exists on this forum, as evidenced by the sneering 'crisp bowl' references that regularly appear.
I would also very confidently predict that had the 1/4 final been at the Walkers then we would have had nearly 30,000 in attendance.

I hope that was said in jest. If not, then I'm certain there will be people keen to take a ticket that you didn't want. Standing in the rain or not.Big_Johnno wrote:What a load of <img src='images/smiles/icon_censored.gif'>.
I'm going to have to pay 20 odd quid to stand in the rain. great.
Don't waste your time away thinking about yesterday's blues

whilst i agree we would nearly fill it rememebr bath didn't sell all there tickets last year it was filled by mainly tigers supporters... i think the point here is that they want to keep true home advantage... why should they give that up for the QF's, thye have to for the SF's....
as for the price yes they have put the ticket price up a little, but they certainly aint going to make as much as if the had an extra 15000 at the 'salty potatoe based snack bowl' the HC is one of the ways that a club makes its money thats why clubs who tend to make it year in year out have more cash than those that don't, so yes it is also a money making excercise but in this case loose some this round to ensure the best chance possible to get to the next round .... its all ok with me
Growing old is mandatory growing up is opiotnal
Yes - 12,600 ish ( 75% of the total capacity is allocated to full season ticket holders ) to avoid what happened last year when the club were forced to move to the Walkers for the 1/4 final or have ST holders miss out.scuff wrote:Does anybody know how many full season ticket holders there are (not the including the Guiness Premiership ones )
The club released another 10% of the total capacity as GP season tickets ( 1700 ish )
I think the club were very clear on this last summer !!
Less is more....
