cuming up on the 16th thinking of camping!!! any good sites near the ground or near a train station so its easier to get there ! :D
i hate early mornings :(

No there are no campsite within the city that i know of.

Absolutely zero. If you can find me a campsite in a city centre anywhere in the world I would be amazed! Plus Leicestershire itself is hardly camping holiday-tastic in any case. Your best bet is a B&B or something.

there's one on De Montfort Street, which is about 10 mins walk from WR whose name escapes me, but it's supposed to be pretty reasonable, clean and comfy. I shall google it and get back to you.

God no! I work opposite there and the shenanigans that go on involving the Police boggle the mind! There was one time when one of my colleagues, waiting at the bus stop to go home just near there, was suddenly surrounded by police cars and there was a raid with the heavy mob, and this woman in an advanced stage of undress climbed out of one of the sub-basement windows! I wouldn't send my worst enemy's dog's pet flea there!

No it was Spindle Lodge in West Street - if you look in the Yellow Pages in Hotels, p.4 or 5, their number is there.
