Can anyone cheer up an Arsenal Fan?!!
Well you might be aware that Arsenal haven't exactly got off to the best of starts in the Premiership. 1 point from two games is nothing like Title form and already 8 points behind Man Utd with a game in hand. Pretty football at times but not much end result!
Anyway, need cheering up on that score with the first loss to City in 15 years!! You know Arsene Wenger must be very worried already! :( :( :( :(

Sorry Kinoulton but that any team who have previously been European Champions who now sit in the third tier of the English league and have just been dumped out of the League Cup by Accrington Stanley can be crowing about the good start they have made is laughable!
Altogether now:
"Accrington Stanley?? Who are they??"
Exactly...

It's not so bad, Kin! Its much better being a Forest fan, isn't it! Cloughie would be so proud of your lot now!
Wharf, you're right about needing another Viera. But where dod you get one from? Cesc Fabregas isn't bad though! There is still too much pretty passing and not enough end result, particularly when Thierry Henry is supposed to be jaded after thw World Cup an can't score at the moment anyway! The performance wasn't bad against City but no end result. Rosicky will be good too.
Red, Liverpool aren't doing badly. You have more points then Arsenal, and I believe a stylish defender now in the mould of Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson. If only you had another! It isn't nice for you seeing Everton fans gloating but they have played one more game and it won't last for them!

I had precisely that text from a smart wotsit Cov fan straight after the result.Iain wrote: "Accrington Stanley?? Who are they??"
Then of course they went out to the Hurrfuds os someone and he was eating humble pie.

Very true, Kin.
To answer Iain's points, Forest have had lean times certainly of late, but isn't being top of the third tier encouragement towards possibly going back the other way and they missed out in the play-offs last season so it wasn't so bad either. A Cup defeat isn't bad but you would have expected Coventry to have beaten whoever they were playing, too.
Who are Accrington Stanley?! Tthey joined the Football League and were there until 1962. Now they are back in the league.

Arsenal fan want cheering up? No problem, I'm a Blackburn fan. At this point in the season, if I wasn't a Blackburn fan and knew someone who was, I'd be rolling on the floor laughing at them.
That said, not only are we bottom of the table, we're also a bunch of aggressive thugs this season. :censored: brilliant.

well to solve arsnal's woes I'd: Get rid of one of the hundreds ofpretty boys you ahev and get a hard man in, I wouldn't care if he could trap a bag of salt, just get a tackler in there to put some strength itno your midfeild.simon redshaw wrote:It's not so bad, Kin! It's all very well being skillful but it's no substute for having a midfeild general in your squad, to partner Cesc. All the greta teams had one (Keane, Lloyd/Burns, Pearce, Veira...)
