As i've just posted on another thread.

The contenders for relegation this year will be between, Barf, Falcons Sarries, Wuss or Bristol.

They will be the bottom 5 teams. To choose one for relegation is a toughy but if I have to choose I think the weakest team out of those 5 will be Brizzle I think followed closely by Falcons, then Barf , Sarries and then Wuss.

Do you know I think I'll put a wager on that could be in the money here.

wel i think Newcastle or Saints they were both pretty poor throughout last season, Newcastle were lucky they managed to pick it up towards the end but maybe it'll have been a wake up call.

Don't tell anyone though, becuase i have inside information, its going to be London Wasps, but shhhhhh, can't tell you how i knoe but i do
great service....great idea (cheers Mr Branson)

Definitely won't be Saints in a relegation battle. Now that King Carlos knows how to play with the rest of the team. ( Or should that be the other way round). Saints will do very well this season. They proved last year that apart from Frank( Spencer) they had no need to buy players they just recruited from their academy. Like Tigers do and they finished the season pretty well.

Do Not Underestimate Saints.

Worcester Sarries or Bristol. I don't want Worcester to go down or Bristol so I would Have to say Sarries.

I may come across as all doom and gloom among many of you. But even I know that Tigers won't get relegated.

Saying that I don't think Tigers will finish top of the pile though. I reckon they will finish 4th or 5th behind Sale, Wasps, Saints and possibly Glaws.

Yes i am a saints fan and i am probably looking through green, black and gold spectacles, but it is a ridiculous statement to say saints are going to stay up this season. we have one of the most talented back-lines in the premiership:

15 - Bruce
14 - Sean Lamont
13 - Jon Clarke
12 - David Quinlan/Robbie Kydd
11 - Ben Cohen (he may be bad for england, but who wouldn't be if they had mike tindall inside them)
10 - King Carlos
9 - Sharky Robinson

and we also have an improving forward pack. we were one of the best teams in the league after christmas last season. if we can cut out the crappy start to the season we could be pushing for the play-offs.
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Hi G, sorry if I sounded like I was having a go. I'm just pulling your leg!! I didn't seriously expect you to say that Tigers would go down. :D

I guess if you're not as optimistic as other people, you won't be disappointed. ;) I personally don't care if Tigers come in 1st or 4th (as long as this stupid play off system exists) as it really doesn't mean much. I think Tigers have just lost things at the last hurdle way too much. Optimistic me thinks times will change :D

I really think that Tigers will have to get over this mental barrier this season. Because if they fail again at the last hurdle I really think the demons in their heads will take some shifting. So I think it has to be this season where Tigers win something. I think if they take it seriously then the Mickey mouse cup will be their best hope.

One of your new academy signings should be quite good for you too.
Danny Pointon...gutted he turned down Glaws.
Bit of a looker as well :P

G, I agree with you. It is time we started to win something. But I don't think it's the end of everything if we don't.

I think every team's best chance is the mickey mouse cup... because nobody really cares about it. Even if Tigers won it, I wouldn't be THAT happy - for me it's just like a series of friendlies. However, I think Tigers do have every chance of winning the GP and / or the European.

I'm not all tha convinced that Quins will be the force people think they will. They're not in real terms that far ahead of where they were when they were relegated. I think they will stay up, but I don't think they will make the triumphant return some are predicting. Bottom four perhaps?
For me I think Worcester are now the weakest side left in the Premiership and they will surely struggle to preserve their Premiership status for a third season. I'd make them my favourites for the drop.
