The Big Question Thread
You know how it is. Something happens, and you just wish you knew the right answer or response. Maybe its a big question ('is there a god ?'), maybe its everyday ('why does buttered toast fall face down ?'), but wouldn't it be nice to be able to air those baffling questions on this forum ?
So, here goes ....
What exactly is the correct answer to the question 'does my bum look big in this ?'

I have never been able to answer that one.
So while we ponder that one:-
Your wife buys herself something quite pricey but essential to her well-being (in my wife's case it would be a fancy dressage saddle) and announces that as she's had this item, it is to count as her Christmas present. You are not to buy her anything else come Christmas.
What do you actually do?

speaking from personal experience and observation (as a woman)
the correct answers would be:
Question 1 - no, it looks fine, but if you don't feel happy in it, then by all means change.
(face it, whatever you say can be taken the wrong way if the mood is wrong!)
Question 2: You buy her something small but meaningful (a book she has been talking about, a DVD with a star she likes, a small bottle of her favourite perfume), or you give her a day off by preparing meals and bringing her drinks while she relaxes on the sofa. If I'd said that a big-price item was to be my Christmas present, then it would be. end of story.

now clearly im not married, and currently i dont even have a boyfriend (and my take on this may be the reason!!) but i think in that case, i would buy myself the big present in the hope that the man in my life would have forgotten all about it and still buy me something brilliant!
and the big bum one, i agree with rizzo. but also make sure she knows how much you like her bum, no matter what size it is!

Stop being so tight and buy her the blooming thing!!! After all she has to have her hobbies as you spend most of your time on here and you know that jodpurs, riding boots and whips send you into another dimension of ecstacyKinoulton wrote:I have never been able to answer that one.

I'll have to get some sets for the dogs, too.
OK, next question:
I find that as I grow older I grow more nasal hair. I received some nasal hair clippers for Christmas. However, I hate using these and much prefer just to yank the longest hairs out whilst I'm driving.
It makes my eyes water but it's something to do on long journeys.
Am I normal?

That one I can answer. I, very publicly, banned her from the house ..... and then apologised the following week. The apology was accepted ...... but she got the message :DKinoulton wrote:Right.
