We were mediocrity today
If that was firsts against second then we really aren't good enough
Kitto was poor And wanting to much time - the drop goal for burns was an abysmal decision by kitto
I also thought that the last penalty when 16 points up when we went for the 3 showed our lack of ambition
Burns was good, Shazam brought intensity but that's it for me
Yes, we must start Harrison against Bristol. The pace of the game when he came on picked up so much and we started to create. White on the bench maybe?
I can't see Tait being fit, so Worth to start unless TV is available.

By my reckoning Tigers were missing though internationals and injury
Cole
Barrow
M Williams
Logo
Youngs
Smith
Manu
Toomua
Pietersen
Veanu
(is Catchpole still injured?)
Plus they lost Croft early on. So two very disrupted teams.
A game of two halves then,
One thing we did particularly well was deal with Quins one tactic of kicking up high balls - not one got dropped and on a filthy day like today that's great.
And on a filthy day like today, the drop goal was a good decision too.
Happy trip back down the M1 tonight.....

The drop goal by Burns was when we were playing penalty advantage so what's the problem? The penalty was after 67 minutes - it took us beyond two converted tries and possibly denying Quins of LBP. Pragmatic in my view.
Hambo :- He was with England when he was injured, but he was a Tigers player, our player. He is still our player.”
At that late stage of the game, Tigers were never going to score another 3 tries for the bonus point. Increasing the lead and taking any points to keep the scoreboard ticking over was more important in my opinion.
Some injuries were also picked up and with Bristol. Only five days away, reduce the riisk of further injuries.

Anyway, why was Freddie Burns try from the quick penalty not allowed?
Although he was within a metre of the ref, the pen was on the 5 so the ref said that Burns also needed to be on or behind the 5 as well as near the mark. When he tapped he was about 4m from the Quins line.
I thought our 2nd XV did very well to beat their 2nd XV---so stop bl**dy moaning !!!
Burns was immense, Tait and Thompstone were very good, and the forwards outplayed theirs, most of the time
Good 4 points, cannot complain at that..
But seeing Sale on TV, why did we swop Brady for Paolo ?????!!!!!!!
And absolutely no disrespect to Tom, .. age before beauty ?

We didn't swap, Odugwu left for reasons some have alluded to, not his playing.
Leicester Tigers 1995-
Nottingham 1995-2000
Swansea (Whites) 1988-95
A game played on grass in the open air by teams of XV.
I think criticism of O'Connor for giving away penalties is a bit unfair. A 7 needs to be on the edge of the law (I am a qualified ref so see a few at a lower level). He turned back some turnovers today in an bit of an unorthodox fashion but got away with it. For one penalty the ref said hands off 7 and Genge came in a pushed O'Connor over the ruck so he could not release. That was a penalty down to Genge not O-Connor. Genge was then subbed. He seemed a bit more sensible when he came back on after Marcos injury. Genge is very raw and is a penalty machine for himself and others - but I think he will grow out of it

Yet again Tombstone put in his shift. He performs week in week out.
