I'd say that was pretty obvious. We don't need him. We already have one of the best fly halves around.

True, just like we have arguably best centres in Manu .... oh dear, yeah that's right he's injured again. plus Lambie can play fullback and centre ... we don't need either of those do we? :smt017

We don't need a full back of his quality as we have Veainu so Lambie wouldn't get many games there.

He could play centre but really we want a genuine centre, not a fly half who can play centre.

So no, we don't need Lambie.

The Rugby Paper saying that Tigers are signing Rebels Lock/6 Steve Cummins on a short term 3 month deal.
Erm a meh signing if there ever was one.

I mean could surprise me but this must be a cheap signing just for depth, akin to Whetton or Peterson. Cause he hasn't been impressive for the Rebels sating that no one other than Mafi has been impressive for the Rebels.

Would this suggest the injury to Barrow and/or Kitchener is fairly serious? We Fitzgerald is out for a while yet.

To me suggests that one of the others could be out for 4-6 weeks and the cupboard is bare

Still need 3 experienced locks. The 2 young lads did well yesterday but even if Kitchener and Barrow are back next week still means we have back row covering second row. Both Williams and Papa wasted at lock

I too thought the young locks did pretty well. I hope they continue to progress with Prem game time, which given the state of injuries that could be a given?

I thought Wells played well against Glaws. He looked fired up and eager to get stuck in. Aggressive and physical, good work rate just what you want from your fourth choice lock. Would happily have him start again next week.

I think Bill Meakes could do a job for us in the centres: can play 12 and 13 and had plenty of AP experience at Glaws.
