That penalty against Heyes was exactly what Thomas did for their 3rd try

Interesting stat last time we won away on opening day was Gloucester 2016/17 a game we where 31-7 down at half time to win 31-38.
So here's hoping we can repeat....

The 9-10 pairing is just offering us nothing. Powell is so slow and Atkinson looks rudderless as soon as he gets the ball. Just kick it way with no ideas.

The worry for me is more the pack which hasn't really looked as good as it should've been.cheltexile wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 8:19 pm The 9-10 pairing is just offering us nothing. Powell is so slow and Atkinson looks rudderless as soon as he gets the ball. Just kick it way with no ideas.
With the ball in our half it just doesn't look like we are making the forward yards needed.
If we can gain some control with no AJ we might put on some decent pressure.

Neither the backs nor the forwards have looked convincing. Really disappointing so far

The pack looks underpowered right now.
Which is a worry

Losing the ruck - they are slowing ours , we are not slowing theirs. Hard for the 9-10 when they are getting slow ball especially when you are comparing to a half back pair that are getting quick ballcheltexile wrote: ↑Fri Oct 13, 2023 8:19 pm The 9-10 pairing is just offering us nothing. The only positive I can see so far is how many players we still having missing from this team but its been thoroughly underwhelming so far
