Most of us tend not to like doing work during our holidays...Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 10:34 am But by the method of modern technology he can do stuff from Oz, unless he is there on more important matters, it does seem strange he isn't here when the team are actually playing.
It was at least one part of the club that was acting professional.

What a novel idea......Tigerbeat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 11:02 amAustralia have not allowed people to enter the country for some time and are still restricting movements into the country. He has been working all through the pandemic and deserves to have some time back with his family in Oz.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 10:34 am But by the method of modern technology he can do stuff from Oz, unless he is there on more important matters, it does seem strange he isn't here when the team are actually playing.

Fair enough, he does a great job for the club and should be able to enjoy his holiday.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 11:03 amMost of us tend not to like doing work during our holidays...Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 10:34 am But by the method of modern technology he can do stuff from Oz, unless he is there on more important matters, it does seem strange he isn't here when the team are actually playing.

Forgive me if I'm being ridiculous, but wouldn't it be normal to have a plan to cover his work when he goes on holiday? Perhaps an understudy who can take over his duties, or someone from another department?
I'm not bothered about the LTTV interviews, I think it's become pretty clear that they are no more than corporate PR exercises, despite Sam's best efforts. However, it is worrying that an entire function of the club would completely stop when one person goes on holiday.
Fans are crying out for communication and the club are saying "sorry guys, Sam's on holiday, so we can't talk to you until January"?

I nominate the Polar Bear.
It really sums up the club at present in some ways.
