Not seen Solomona until today but agree on Taylor. Think he's had a great season and has improved Wasps, whilst Sale have been worse without him - this afternoon excepted!!

I know there are those who feel Alun Wyn Jones is nailed on for Lions captain but last week he was out-performed by Launchbury and this week by Jonny Gray. I'm not sure he deserves a place in the starting 15. When you add Kruis, Itogi, Toner etc into the mix things look even tougher.

When you add into the fact that Ospreys are not in the European Champions Cup he has little time to put in a performance to get him into the side.

Murray and Sexton looking like the half backs as long as they remain fit. Ringrose will be there or thereabouts in the 13 shirt, and Zebo is getting back some of his X factor.
Up front for the Irish Furlong continues to impress as do O'Brien and Stander.
For me the jury is still out on Best, is he much better than Hartley

Funny old competition this year, can't believe Ireland were so easily beaten by Scotland, not sure there's many Irish players that would make my touring Test side, mid week maybe.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

Sexton, Murray, O'Brien, Furlong and Best (capt) IMO. Stander will also be close to the test side.

Wales captain Alun Wyn Jones wanted to kick for goal at a crucial stage of Saturday's 29-13 defeat by Scotland, but says his kickers said "no".

By admitting that I think AWJ has blown his chances of Captaining the Lions. He was the captain and he should have told LH to kick it!

The Lions have made the mistake of picking a captain who was not the best in his position in the side in the past.

Interestingly Wynn-Jones was not Gatland's captain for Wales.

Launchbury another MOTM, certainly putting down a marker for a Lions spot. Nowell also great cameo performance, would never let you down.

Nowell should be a shoo-in, but the Welsh wingers will be first on the teamsheet despite his footballing brain being in a much higher class and his physical skill at least their equal.

drc-007 aren't you forgetting Courtney Lawes, although he's a Saint he still deserves to be in the squad.
