I've said it before, Potter going and Watson staying isn't a a decent trade-off in my view. It's a massive loss, Harry has been excellent.

Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Great call!RunTigerRun wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 5:13 pm Mentioned it before but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam Carter joins us for a season. Worked with McKellar from the Brumbies / Australia. Line out caller (which is good whilst Henderson, Martin, Chessum O are either WC or 6N duty) and gives an experienced mentor to the young locks.
A season contract to be an extra body if needed and with injuries (cause Martin, Wells, Chessum and Henderson have had time out with injuries this season) then I think it’s valuable. Then next season when Manz/Chessum L/Carmichael have had some more exposure then we can see them step up more.

Very good Green replacement, also says in the article he covers the back row (not sure he's played there too much though) so definitely provides depth that we need there
Guessing that means Chessum and Martin may be used still as back row depth rather than a signing there.

A prop then Watson are my two guesses...

If we are keeping Watson you have to think that the announcement will be in this lot. Unless they are involved elsewhere, could be news on the coaching front as well I guess.
Being cynical, my guess will be that anyone holding out for deals at clubs will be putting pen to paper as soon as possible or risk being downvalued or discarded if there is a sudden deluge of availablity amongst LI players.

They've announced the new women's players at 4pm so far, so could be another today

Great call Runtigerrun excellent signing.
I really hope we don’t start chopping and changing Chessum and Martin around between lock and 6. They are both potentially world class locks, play them there

Interesting Kata is mentioned as a centre first, Gopperth replacement more than a wing?

Only if Liebenberg or Hatherall weren’t fit. Would rather see one of them come off the bench as at Gloucester. All imo of courseRagingBull wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 3:28 pmDepends who is about really argument of best players on the pitchRugbygramps wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 3:25 pm Great call Runtigerrun excellent signing.
