Well you can’t fault the effort to find a way to win
But it was absolute crud with one moment of magic from JVP and a really good team try in the 2nd half
No idea where we go from there other than to an absolute hiding in Dublin and then be broken and battered for Saints.

Thank goodness for that... held out with 12...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Ironically it was a scrum penalty to us at the end.
We were poor but it may well galvanise the team. Credit to survive with 12 men. Nice to know that Newcastle’s attack is the only one worst than ours.
We have huge work to do and clear we have serious deficiencies in attack and at prop.
Pollard was poor. Weise and JVP very good.
The end of the game was the most absurd I’ve ever seen.

Maybe if a certain loudmouth head coach had a rolling maul he would've had something other than a scrum

Hanging on against Falcons is not a confidence giving performanceRetiredseven wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 9:57 pm Was that Carnduff? Massive intervention...
It really shouldn't have been that hard, should have been five points as well.
Hopefully the win will give the squad some confidence to latch on to.

He’ll probably say they should have had a penalty try from some of those scrumsRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2024 9:58 pm Maybe if a certain loudmouth head coach had a rolling maul he would've had something other than a scrum

We rescued victory from the Jaws of defeat but this team must improve and improve quickly apart from the extra time we were appallingly bad and scrum was a disaster and no TBP
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
