Don't get too excited. IIRC while this stops you seeing their posts, you still get to see any that are quoted by another user in their reply. I could be wrong though as it was discussed quite few years ago, possibly in relation to Roly, or was it Bj

True, I’ve had Scott1 blocked for an age, still see the vast majority of his posts though, and then end up clicking to view the ones not quoted to fill in the gaps. Doesn’t help really.Cagey Tiger wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:26 pmDon't get too excited. Re: QUINS (H) - ROUND 19 - 15th May 2021
I seem to remember Martin Johnson saying to a referee about a decision that went against Tigers "i think we were a bit hard done to there (slight gap) sir". The ref was in no doubt about Johnno's viewpoint but couldn't complain about the way he was approached.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 7:48 pmThe art is in phrasing it to the ref. Screaming something rarely has the desired effect. As Youngs is running and gets tackled within 10m you want the closest player to be saying "hmm I don't think he was back 10" in a nice friendly voice. Human beings are automatically defensive to hostile noises so shouting isn't going to help, a quiet word in the ear from the nearest player and suddenly the ref is questioning himself, "was that player back 10?".Tiglon wrote: ↑Sun May 16, 2021 7:22 pm Not sure it makes any difference when players scream at a referee. Green shouted "tackled in the air" or something similar at least 3 times after being tackled in the air during a lineout. Pearce could not have been less interested - and rightly so (Green was right and Pearce was wrong, but the last thing we want is refs giving penalties because players tell them to).
Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

I'd forgotten those, and they were quite regular posters as well. I think some continued on the unoffy. Some may have got fed up with the doom monger vs happy clapper debate. As the team were at the start of the decline to where we were before SB was announced, there was plenty of doom to be monged. Still, that's in the past, as is hopefully, the doom.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 10:31 pmTigermad, dailywaffle, Mark62....where are these people ?jgriffin wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 4:19 pmBlast from the past - the flame wars with Bill, tjs10 and a couple of others I have fortunately forgotten.Cagey Tiger wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 2:45 pm
