IMO the starting XV against Exeter will be one maybe 2 players different from that

Yes,it will probably be Cracknell,Reffell,Liebenberg if i had to guess but with Borths who knows?! Definitely Hanro and Tommy if both fit

Reffell off the bench Vs Chiefs I reckon. Last season in our second win over them we went for a big backrow with Liebenburg at 7. Martin, Cracknell and Liebenburg and look to do a number on them up front. Take away their power game and watch them struggle.

Very unusual though not having a friendly the week before the season starts

I suspect they want it on the Thursday/Friday at WR so they are probably having a game with Nottingham behind closed doors, but doing that unofficially now. Which gives them more flexibility etc as to what to do ability to try combinations. Maybe play x3 40min segments with different teams in each etc etc.

Granted Charlie, I noticed that after I posted!

I’ve seen Green in training photos too so just Simmons and Kelly that are more unexplained. Kelly I assume is still recovering, Simmons is an odd one after being seen a lot in the early days. You’d assume he wouldn’t go on loan after just re-signing - but stranger things have happened! Hopefully see him get some game time in the early PRC games !

Genge stated that Green was injured after the final. Whilst I've seen him in training I don't know if they're monitoring him/keeping him on a lighter workload atm so he's ready.

Simmons likely may have a knock otherwise he'd be getting some gametime IMO

Kelly likely is not yet match fit. I trust the medical staff but at a guess he'll be back in a month or so... that may have the bonus for us (not him) of not being picked in the AI's
