Playing like that was inexcusable.
The internationals looked tired, Reffell knackered.
As for the rest, they looked like they were in a pre season friendly. Touch rugby in the midfield defence. Go wide without committing the tackler...
Wiese awol for most of the game. Youngs played like he had already retired.
The rolling maul worked but we had no clue how to get the ball there to use it.
We lost at home to the second worst team. Little more to say.

Personally I want to see Porter back in the 23, but I'm probably picking a broadly similar team to you...RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:19 pmHave edited cause forgot England players need a break so this one is prob a good one to give someTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:19 pmCole said on the podcast I think he's having his week offRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:16 pm Going with next week a team of for me

One of those looked very offside. Unfortunately sir was on the wrong side of the ruck and the assistant was to far away to assist sir.WiggoTiger wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:18 pm I thought Youngs was very average tonight.
JVP speeded things up but sadly got charged down twice.

Bassett hasn't impressed at all since he came here, not sure what people are expecting.

I'd agree. I'm expecting 5th or 6th but depends on how we develop into the end of the season.Big Dai wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:14 pmWow....realy raising the bar there. I'm resigned to a 5th or 6th finish. I may be surprised. But I doubt it.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:09 pmSarries play Quins tomorrow. As it stands we're a point off one and two points off the other, both teams you'd expect to be in the mix for the playoffs. We could still catch them, we've just got to improve. We were certainly better tonight than we were last week.

Would say we start Whitcombe/Montoya/Heyes and Martin should be fresh and raring to go. Got to have Wiese in the XV.. JvP and Kata nailed on starters for me too and I guess OHC in there.. would like to see more of Ilione and perhaps next week could be a good chance for him..TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:22 pmPersonally I want to see Porter back in the 23, but I'm probably picking a broadly similar team to you...RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:19 pmHave edited cause forgot England players need a break so this one is prob a good one to give someTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:19 pm

Problem for me is I hoped he would be Watson's backup, reality has been he's our starting wingercheltexile wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:26 pm Bassett hasn't impressed at all since he came here, not sure what people are expecting.

Assistant managed to spot us ahead of the kicker at the restart but must have missed their winger doing exactly the same at the next one..sam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:25 pmOne of those looked very offside. McKellar saying he's back in full contact training so he should have completed concussion protocols nowRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:32 pmIDK if he's fit or not.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:22 pmPersonally I want to see Porter back in the 23, but I'm probably picking a broadly similar team to you...RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:19 pm

That would be handy I would def have him at the 23 and plan on putting him on the wing v LeinsterTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:35 pmMcKellar saying he's back in full contact training so he should have completed concussion protocols nowRagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:32 pmIDK if he's fit or not.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:22 pm

Scott needs to start at 13 if fit also that game

Appalling to rescue defeat from the Jaws of victory in the final 2 mins what the heck are we playing at? Kata was epic and went off with an injury a big worry. BY has already retired he was genuinely bad and if Shillcock had converted just 2 goal kicks we would have won. Truth is Gloucester wanted it more and that I cannot understand from us playing at home. Mckellar was not happy post match but what on earth has the coaches and players been doing for 7 weeks? They looked like a team of total strangers and Glos attacking game was sublime whereas yet again save the rolling maul and Kata we offered nothing in attack bar two gilt edged opportunities which we butchered as per. Kelly is yesterday's man and Basset is great if he has a clear run to the line. Very dissapointed that I pay hard earned cash to watch that drivel Carley ignored 2 clear knock ons one of which directly led to a Glos try
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
