Wouldn’t mind a look at Rory Sutherland at LHP? Sam Carter at lock might be a decent 1 season shout too if Green retired and Chessum was still injured with Martin and Henderson at the WC.
Also Rob Lyttle a good outside back - could be worth a punt??

Sutherland definitely the type of LHP I would be targeting.

He started at 8 on the 22nd of April. He does seem to have had more bench time since he announced he was off but that could have been because another player came into form or recovered from injury I don't follow La Rochelle so not sure.

I think he was injured early in the season, but since round 9 of the T14 (they're now on round 23) he's only been out of the Top14 23 twice.

He didn't get an instant release from Worcester so wouldn't have been at La Rochelle for the start of the season so could be a reason he missed a few games.

Good point, well made. I'd forgotten the circumstances of how he eventually moved to La Rochelle. Ironic, given yesterday's news.

Possibly, but with Bhatti, Kebble, Berghan, Dell among others they have a large prop stable. Wouldn’t mind looking at Oli Kebble (SA born Scottish prop) if Sutherland is heading to Scotstoun.
