Just a yellow offence - no arms clear out to the shoulder. Completely unnecessary and dangerous, but never a red due to point of contact.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 2:31 pmDo you think Ross may get cited TiglonTiglon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 2:28 pm For anyone thinking Wiese is a liability, take a look at the Stade hooker Latu - how he ever makes it through a full 80 minutes without seeing red is beyond me. Second time I've watched him this season, today he's been red carded, and the other time he was swiftly subbed before he inevitably saw red. His first yellow today cost Stade a 14 point turnaround (minimum) and the second will no doubt cost them even more. Borderline shouldn't even be allowed on a rugby field...
Jonno Ross (IMO the Premiership's dirtiest player) also should have been carded for his no arms clear out (inches away from a red) that was identical to Latu's first yellow offence.

5th try for Stade now leading and going through, not sure how.
Connacht may have blown a big lead for the 2nd week on the bounce
Commentary team now saying they aren’t yet through

Crazy 3 mins in Paris - end to end to end. Great rugby though

What will this do to Connaught’s confidence.

A BP win isn't enough for Stade, they need to also win by at least 6 points and hope Wasps get 0 match points at Munster.

Some teams find out about how a ref referees the game. If either side had done that then they would know that Wayne Barns will not take abuse and also be open to a big call if you block a defender.

The way the round of 16 is shaping up, and them being 2 leg fixtures, each tie could go either way
Re: Champions Cup - 21st - 23rd January 2022
Hoping Wasps get nothing now! Come on Munster

All eyes on Montpellier vs Exeter. Still Montpellier, Clermont and Glasgow as potential last 16 opponents for us.
Montpellier need a point. Glasgow need them to get nothing. Montpellier win pushes Clermont into 8th.
QF opponent looks like Leinster or Connacht, unless Wasps pull of a big win at Thomond to pass Connacht.

Wasps getting nothing at the moment. Hope Thomas Young injury isn’t too serious
Re: Champions Cup - 21st - 23rd January 2022
Got caled away from the TV so did not see the Young incident after the initial ruck. Did the RMO look at it. He seemed to fall/sit back from the ruck as though he had been hit on the head by a clear out. Spinal compression or knock fracture possible but hopefully not.
