Not surprising, Hatherall is the same age as Jasper but sadly not in the same stratosphere

We will never replace Wiese like for like but I’m not convinced by Hatherall he doesn’t quite have the explosive qualities required imo
Still a player worth keeping though
I agree but not as direct replacement for Wiese, not for me anyway

Not a name I know. Quick Google search shows him to be 24 with around 50 appearances for the Lions. Decent try scoring record 6ft 3 and approx 16 and 1/2 stone in old money

From the first clip he would appear to be bigger than his stats given on Wikipedia.
Possibly another Wiese type project, no one had really heard of him before either

Was also mentioned that Wiese probably off to Japan. Lots of yen and short season. Maybe joining Freddie B at the Shuttles

Yeah signed a contract until 2025 so unless something has gone wrong at the Lions it looks unlikely.

I really hope we have a good look at English preferably our Academy players before going for a foreign player. We do want the best at Leicester but the pathway should not be blocked for our own talent.

For the squad as a whole I would agree with you, and is something as a club we are getting better.
However Wiese is such a key player for us, that replacing him as like for like as possible is vital no matter where in the world they come from

Dan McKellar on Mike Brown; "I am doing all I can to keep him at the club, we will see where we get to in the next couple of days. We are not farewelling him".
