Yeah Flannery off to join the Boks. Sinfield's defence could suit Quins who are playing a more aggressive strategy already this season. Certainly at Tigers the Borthwick/Sinfield tactics put jacklers into positions to be a menace and Quins have players that will definitely enjoy that.
Hes also on the Bath list and the Scotland list too.
Really? Tandy signed a three year deal with Scotland last year and the Bath defence coach is van Graan's right hand man, followed him to Munster and then to Bath.

Why so? I think Matt Everard is doing a very decent job

Matt has been also a successful attack coach and we're missing one of those...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Might be a good move for him Benetton currently 2nd in the URC with a large chunk of the Italian team in their squad

Rumoured that Sharks (of the South African variety) are wanting to buy Esterhuizen out of his Quins contract, to the tune of £500,000.
Matt Gallagher is also apparently off to Benetton from Bath.

The chaotic Bristol squad building "strategy" continues. Love it.

Vakatawa only signed for one year so could be a replacement for him.

Would make sense. And I know there are a lot of Manu fans out there but I’m not sure spending money on an injury prone 33 year old who’ll give you 12 games a season if you’re lucky makes any sense, no matter how good he was in his heyday

Very much this, I am just not sure how anyone can see Manu as value for money now. He was not for years for us and he has not been for Sale either. Unless he retires from England, you spend most of the time getting him fit so as he can play a couple of internationals and then come back broken. At his pomp he was something to behold but now I would not sign him on anything more than a squad player salary.

I think his average for Sale is 10 games per season. At Tigers it was more like 12.

Although that must all be nonsense because when Manu signed for Sale Sanderson was very clear that they would keep him fit and he wouldn't miss many games through injury. :smt003
