I'm amazed Atkinson hasn't been hooked. His kicking is so aimless

Van Wyk has been our best player by some distance tonight imo

Instead of Hanro or would you move him to lock or 7?

Instead.
I like Hanro a lot, great work horse. Don't know I trust him at lock or lock cover
But feel that against certain teams that might require more fire power like say against French clubs or Leinster.

That makes sense, I would like to see him at lock just to see how it goes

Shillcock's first kick, miles better than anything Atkinson produced in 55 minutes

Considering McKellar said we'd be a set-piece team, I'm worried because the set maul has been rubbish

Has Joe Heyes had his dumbest game in history?

Might as well at some point try it even as a bench option

I don't think it's gelling thats the issue.
Alot of issues seem to be stupid player errors ATM, if it's rust or not I guess we be seen.

I think selection wasn't right though looking at the balance
Whatever it is,you cant replicate a game in training, regardless of how “intense” it is. It was a ridiculous decision all round last week!
Can't replicate it in preseason games either.
But a game is better than training, absolutely no doubt!

I wonder if
10. Shillcock
15. Atkinson

Might work better?
