Italy currently leading South Africa 31-26 63 mins in, the state of the pitch is dreadful though! Makes Welford Road of a few years back look like a bowling green

Italy captain (and once linked with Tigers) David Odiase was outstanding, he's some unit as well!

Nearly 2 rounds gone now and the balance seems to have moved away from the southern hemisphere.
Also good to see the 2nd tier nations competing well too, only 1 hammerings so far with the only one being France over Japan

France winning by 20points with 2 minutes to go
Great result for France, and although I've not seen the highlights (anyone know where can I see them?), it seems to be a convincing win with Baby Tuilagi shining!

Can you get YouTube Robes. It would have been closer had it not been played in a paddy field

Finn's England boys romped home 53-7 over Fiji thanks to a dominant set piece.

Puts them in a good position going into the Australia match, but Ireland grabbing a late try bonus today means the fight for top spot will go to the wire.

Odiase is a freak athlete. It's a shame Tigers couldn't grab him. When someone unknown is linked completely from nowhere like that I tend to think there's something in it so I'd guess there was contact between club and player.

Need the bonus point win over Australia really to progress, though I think that best 2nd place in the pools also goes to the semi finals but that would almost certainly mean playing France

Getting a tilt at the top 4 would be a decent result for this group, the way things have been this cycle

Has that been announced? Good to see our lads included. I have to say (and I am really not sure about this comparison...) but Woodward reminds me of Farrell a bit...
