I am guessing players in contention for England places will want some sold assurances that they will be included in the exceptional circumstances rule if, for example, they went to France, But they would also need to know what length of deal they can sign. As such, there may well be a bit of sorting out to do before they can negotiate their next move.
That's already been confirmed by the RFU that it is included in the exceptional circumstances rule
Has that actually been confirmed by the RFU, or just paper talk/off the record that the RFU will allow it?
Goooooodeeeeeyyyyy!

Yes it was confirmed by the professional game board (made up of RFU & Prem Rugby)

They did confirm that that eligibility ONLY extends till the end of the world cup, so short term contracts only

Just let them play in France and stop forcing clubs to pay huge contracts to players they get for half a season

Not sure how you'd square that away with the people who complain that the internationals being away for so much of the season devalues the prem

The only way to fix that is to stop playing league games without them being available

10 Tigers in the international setup
Montoya
Heyes
Leatigaga
Reffell
Wiese
Youngs
JVP
Porter
Murimurivalu
Steward

With other internationals in Pollard, Chessum, Dolly, Kelly injured
Got to say how many more internationals can we afford in the squad really?
That's like potentially 14 players the might have missed this chunk just via International call-ups.

Plus add in the possibility of adding two former Wasps players to that list too...

Likely Taufete'e is either injured or we'll lose him too.

That said the counterpoint is that we still can put this 23 out, which is pretty darn good IMO

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Chessum, Pollard and a returning Kelly v Bath

Great work on keeping it updated. Just an FYI I think you've missed Taufete'e off the Hookers list in our squad RB

If we're looking for a like for like Nadolo replacement then Siosaia Fifita could be a good shout, made a few good carries against NZ for Japan

Is Shillcock still a legitimate rumour?

Hoping Radwan and maybe Big Joe Cokanasiga are still legitimate rumours too!

Tivita Li, would be my choice.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

For next season (Shilcock) as his deal with Barf is only a short term one
