Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad
Just watched this video of the U20 tries and was really impressed by the involvements of Carnduff, I didn’t realise how impactful he was: https://youtu.be/0m_5AAoBn7s?si=vQ4EiF5uysu2BtgK
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad
Only managed to catch the 2nd half but it looks like Miell pulled out before the game started. Didn't see too much of Ollie Allan or Charlie Myall as they were both subbed early in the half although Myall definitely looked to be getting involved a lot and made one good crash ball run.
Satala was already on at half time and when he got good clean ball he looked very lively and scored a well worked try, comms mentioned his dad and uncle both played 7's for Fiji with Serevi and he certainly has that kind of flair about him.
Quins look like they've got one of the best future hot steppers from what I saw of Conor Byrne, almost Veainu-esque

Seen on Twitter that concussions may have been the reason we let Chester Owen go, as he had a number and there was some concerns about him staying fit.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad
Agreed, pretty athletic too. Really hope we're still keeping tabs on him!

Rumour is we've acquired Will Wand from Coventry for next season so we must have someone keeping an eye on how Coventry are getting on. Owen will have some competition at Coventry for game time next season.

Just looking at his stats he’s a big unit and 17 tries in 42 appearances is MAGIC !!sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 3:49 pmRumour is we've acquired Will Wand from Coventry for next season so we must have someone keeping an eye on how Coventry are getting on. Wand is supposed to be quick as well as solid in defence. 22 years old, let's hope he can make the step up.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 3:58 pmJust looking at his stats he’s a big unit and 17 tries in 42 appearances is MAGIC !!sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 3:49 pmRumour is we've acquired Will Wand from Coventry for next season so we must have someone keeping an eye on how Coventry are getting on. Hopefully the rumours are true and he is indeed inbound.LekkerTigers wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 1:29 pm https://youtu.be/ByqK4QpYQOE?si=9OJoubzNV1s5DnE1

Re: 5 Tigers in England U20 squad
Yeh would put him down as Cokanasiga replacement, and unlike PC who was signed to play out of position at 13 IMO Wand if he is signing would be a actual 13/14
