The rumour that came out of the club was no more significant signings. I know nothing about Will but if he came he wouldn’t be considered a significant signing

Yes please to Will Wand and David Mee
On the Scott interview he doesn’t say he talked to Moroni, he said he’s got nothing which could be more to the fact that nothing been announced.
Just a counter point

For me I would rather we went for younger options such as Ward and Mee, rather than a player nearer the end of his career such as Moroni.
There is more than enough experience in that back line plus the anticipated arrival of Hewat.
An extra reason to keep Mike Brown around too to mentor some youngsters

I think he's a good defence coach and an excellent leader/motivator. He's not a great coach though, perhaps he will be in time. Considering the mess that is Quins defence currently he'll probably have a positive impact.RagingBull wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 2:59 pm I’m not that sold on Kev tbh might get ripped to shreds on that one

Can’t see Chiefs going for Alo, as haven’t they already signed Jimmy Roots. Already got Painter, Iosefa-Scott and Street at TH.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:33 pmWGC will be fantastic for Chiefs. Good at scrum time and he's a decent ball carrier, particularly close to the line with his frame.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:09 pmWGC rumoured as Hepburn replacementABClub wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 2:04 pm Harry Elrington would be a decent pickup for someone. I think he's a solid Prem LH. Not needed by Tigers with Smith, Cronin and Whitcombe.
It's nuts to me that Will Goodrick-Clarke and Biyi Alo are both plying their trade in the Championship though. WGC is just a quality EQP LH. Whilst Alo offers things English props often don't given his sheer size and ball carrying.
I wouldn't be surprised if Alo ended up at Chiefs, they've managed to get a tune out the massive and every third ruck Painter, who struggled for consistency at Saints. Alo is a unit and would be great close to the line in that Chiefs pick and go game.
If we wanted another tighthead option then Alo would be a handy Leatigaga style impact sub.

Arthur Relton, speedy ex-Eng 20s wing would be the only one that would interest me as a bit of a punt signing. We could do with more pace options outwide and I don't think we have an obvious one coming through the ranks.
Goooooodeeeeeyyyyy!
