Turned the game off before half time.
Feel less interested in this team than our ‘worst’ days a few years ago.
Fair play to anyone who is still feeling positive about this team, I simply can’t muster any enthusiasm

Steward and Carnduff at least have shown some fight- Steward looks angry, as he has every right to.

Sorry stopped watching a while ago - hopefully the final score isn't too embarrassing. There is clearly so much to fix...

Converted by Shillcock excellently, 31-22 to Sale

Not many positives to take away tonight but we have scored 3 tries away to Sale and I think Shilcock and Whiteley (2 players who have taken a bit of flack recently) have had very good games. Shilcock with some great touch finders and a couple of great kicks off the tee

It's been a turgid second half but some of the players have been good. Kelly, Steward, Shillcock, Carnduff, Reffell, Martin and Kata have all been good. Hewat will have plenty to work with next season. There's been some fire in the belly stuff from the lads tonight even as the game has gone against us.

I like angry Steward maybe we should fire him up a bit more pre game. He's been everywhere tonight.Tigers86asw wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 9:31 pm Steward and Carnduff at least have shown some fight- Steward looks angry, as he has every right to.

Agreed, seeing him square up to JL Du Preez was something I wasn't expectingsam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 9:35 pmI like angry Steward maybe we should fire him up a bit more pre game. Yep agreed. Great counter attacking break, solid under the high ball and covered a hell of a lot of ground tonightsam16111986 wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 9:35 pmI like angry Steward maybe we should fire him up a bit more pre game. Poor kick away from Whiteley could have cost us a try for what? A truly turgid performance I am not looking forward to next season something has to change and quickly

Sale are nothing special. A good team would have taken them this evening.
The fans want the season to end, and it seems like most of the players do too.

Not too bad in the end. Glad I stuck with it.
Obviously a lot to do in the Summer but there is a semblance of a good team there.
