Is it me or are the touchjudges giving Sale an extra 5 metres on quite a few of our kicks for touch?!!

Presumably because, even if we match them try for try from now to the end of the game, we are 2 points short. Take the points when they are easy and when available. Percentage rugby.

Why not? Haven't really threatened since the opening salvos. Takes us within a score in a half we haven't done great in.

Because it was 1 minute away from half time and it puts us within a converted try.

Clare threw it to where no Tigers were standing. The look on Wells said it all.

Somehow we’re still in this, but when Sale put it together it’s too easy to breach us. Anyway, back to the Sanderson/Sale love in.

The official with the dark hair adjudged Stewards kick to touch only just made it out of the 22 despite the Sale player fielding it inside his own half.. I get angles etc but seemed very generous to Sale!

Not an easy kick to touch either. Sale have a big pack we weren't likely to maul over from a way out. Would have had to be an exceptional kick to get 5m out and after the last bungled lineout I agree with the decision just to take the points.
