Seems the owners of Leicester City are in contact with Tigers about raising the profile of rugby in Thailand
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Could see it being them dipping their toe to see how rugby is taken in Thailand before potentially investing into Tigers long run.

Certainly sounds like a potential similar deal to what the Saudis wanted

Sounds similar to the set up they have with running a Leicester City academy in Thailand. I think the boys study at Ratcliff College as part of it?

Will be interesting to see if anything more comes of this, certainly can't hurt to have closer ties with the Srivaddhanaprabha family though

And probably ethically more acceptable.

If our friends down the road want to take the Thaigers brand across the water it can only be to the benefit of all of us.

I for one see the engagement of their chairman with the fans and can tell that he has exactly what we need at Welford Road

Id even be willing to accept a temporary renaming of the ground to King Power Welford Road - at least it has a better ring to it

Noise and deflection ,I'm afraid....
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Yeah it’s a odd one to say noise and deflection considering it was started by a random French speaking Asian rugby twitter account with only 3.6k followers

It might be nothing big, but to if it was a noise and deflection thing surely they would you know use something with more coverage and English

Not saying it’s happening but it would be small change for them to make a difference given that promotion to the premiership is worth around £150 million for City

I don’t think it’s a case of anything significant tbh by or anything is happening

Just a really odd way to describe it as noise and deflection
