Agreed, he had a height and run up advantage there. Made it easy to defend

I must say he is looking better at 12 than at 13. Maybe he needs to get his hands on the ball more often to get him into his groove?
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Pollard has taken a couple of big hits, wonder if he's feeling them. Kelly played well last weekend and even better so far. Showing both the creative and bosh styles of 12 in one.
The attack looks slightly off, like everyone's in the right position but not running at full tilt or entirely confident the ball is going to be there.

where is King Freddie Burns when you need him, he'd light up this back line...

I really do think with some coaching creativity and clarity in attack that Kelly will flourish again, his ability to do everything at a 7-8/10 really makes me think of Anthony Allensam16111986 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 3:59 pmPollard has taken a couple of big hits, wonder if he's feeling them. With an attack coach, Perese at 13, and Freddie at 15, the future looks bright!

Handling still an issue for both sides, scrum has been very tit for tat

Dan Kelly looking much more like his old self, in his interview with RL he seemed to enjoy playing 13 too, that said when Kata's ban is over I'd move him to 14 for the next league game, provided Kelly and Scott are fit

Try time OHC again, first phase move off the scrum

Nice move. That's more like it

Try no2 for OHC, a really clinical try

Freddie with another perfectly timed pass to OHC, maybe we should stick with this combination and keep the faith?

Cronin really struggling in the scrums now
Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
we look more comfortable playing with Kelly 12, Scott 13 and steward 15.
