Rugby Doppelgangers
PIt's all very intense on this forum, so maybe a little lightheartedness:
I'm watching Series 2 of Blue Lights on BBC and is it me, or are the identical twin brothers of George Ford and Dan Biggar both playing leading roles? Maybe it's actually them and they have decided to take up acting careers as they get older.
Any other notable rugby players famous for 'starring' in tv shows or films?

Good idea to have something light-hearted (at least at the outset).
How about Dan Cole and Sergeant Goodfellow of Father Brown?
And Harry Simmons and Garry Ringrose could probably swap teams without it being noticed?

My initial thought was a young (before he hit too many rucks) Joe Launchbury and Jay McGuinness (SCD winner in 2015 and member of The Wanted). After searching for some images, now I'm not so sure. Perhaps others can see a likeness?
Re: Rugby Doppelgangers
I've got three mates that look a fair bit like Martin Corry, Paul O'Connell and Ronan O'Gara. A woman in NZ (who claimed she was Jona Lomu's old PE teacher) once said I looked like Christian Cullen (this was about 25 years ago and she was drunk...), but my mates said I looked like Carl Heyman!
From that we decided the rest of us needed 'look-a-likes' so....One looked like Peter Stringer, primarily because he is about 6'3" and a Munster fan. Another Like Sebastion Chabal because he's been going bald semingly forever, and one looks like Paul Sackey, he really doesn't....

An old one but Jeremey Thrush (ex-Kiwi & Gloucester lock) and Nick Pickard (Tony from Hollyoaks).

There is an actor that looks just like a young Louis Deacon but I can’t recall his name or any of the shows he’s in right at the moment
Re: Rugby Doppelgangers
Maybe you're thinking of Andrew Buchan? He's probably best known for his role in Broadchurch.
Re: Rugby Doppelgangers
The actor who plays Tommy Foster in Blue Lights is a George Ford lookalike

He is a big lad, I should have asked him if he had ever thought of playing for Tigers....he could start next season with a clean slate !!
