Unfortunately this is also my thinking on his refereeing of Tigers' games. I am often very confused with his decisions.

Yep totally agree. While I think he's a decent official he almost tries hard not to seem Tigers-leaning and we come off worse for it!

Bookies have Saints at long odds on to win (range 4/9 to 2/7).

On handicap you can get Tigers +9 with odds of 10/11 so if you think we have a decent chance fill your boots.

Saints at 3/10 and Tigers at 5/2 means bookies have 35% chance Tigers win, 65% chance Saints win.

That's not long odds at all. It's saying that if the match is played 100 times, Tigers win it 35 times. Saints favourites, but still very possible that Tigers win.

Saracens are 1/20 to beat Glouc. That's long odds.

Bristol are 1/40 to beat Newcastle. That's very long odds.

30/100 is a 76.9% implied chance and 5/2 is about 28.6%. However them odds are only a firms opinion. Likely Saints will trade at a lot bigger than that on the exchanges when the teams are announced, whereas Tigers the 5/2 could be on the big side when teams are announced which is when the market will properly take shape.

It's interesting to note very limited views of the lineouts on social media in training, when normally it's quite prominent. The only visible one is where you only have a view of Wells and Ilione in one line (but couldn't see who they were jumping against).

To me that suggests at least one person the club doesn't want visible may be training there.. so I expect at least one of Chessum and Martin is back, probably both.

If we play like we did against Leinster with the addition of the above three, then I think we have a very good chance to sneak a win, especially if we slow down the game, keep the ball in the forwards, and do not kick it to their backs with space. Our defence in the midfield has certainly to be better than it was against Leinster though.

If we don't turn up, it will be a cricket score.
