Out of interest, when did Dickens go AWOL? My sketchy memory tells me that the pre-season games had more.ball in hand and attacking intent. Am I wrong?

You are correct.

He went some time around the start of the prem season not sure exactly when?

Telegraph & Mail reporting Matt O’Connor about to be confirmed as new attack coach. Telegraph also suggesting George Martin has NFL break clause in his contract which the San Francisco 49ers and Chicago Bears are looking to activate at the end of the season!

Great news! Even this cannot do anything other than improve the current status quo. :smt003

So no attack coach for the rest of this season

Implication that there will be one in place for next season but sounds like (unsurprisingly) it will not be Dickens

The rumour that we have signed 2 centres for next season probably true then as Scott is rumoured to be off as well.

If so, I think we’ll regret losing Scott.

Scott will be 34 at the start of next season. As handy a player as he is we can't keep expecting him to perform every week. It also sounds like he fancies a trip back home up north.

Probably so, but from what I hear it's his wish to hear back up north to get ready for retirement. He's been a class act for us and I wish him the best.

It’s as much his desire to move back north as anything

Strange move on the face of it unless there is some Welsh ancestry in there.
Maybe another centre incoming or could be Woodward moving up. Has impressed whenever I’ve seen him
