What’s getting behind a joke is opinions like this that seem to think there’s some sort of deliberate policy to injure players. Maybe he’s just another Manu, or Anthony Watson. Or Mark Wood if you follow cricket.

I’ve not washed my car as that would certainly mean rain! I’m just working out a couple of routes as the A1 at Washington has had problems all week!
I’m driving back afterwards but have to get there first!!
A1 Doncaster has been bad all week too but at least you can get off and go through Pontefract to get back on track!
Hope Tigers have contingency plans to get through the Newcastle defence.
Come on Tigers.

when he chooses to play someone he knows already has an injury or leave them on when a replacement is available that is a deliberate choice and speaks to him as a coach, can you imagine Steve the Tigers Head Coach standing for this happening to one of his players?

Steve's first duty isn't to win games its to the health of his players

Its the old club vs country chestnut. Frankly I don't give a fig about England rugby I pay my season ticket amongst other reasons primarily to see our best players on the pitch and not absent due to international call ups and/or resultant injuries.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity

players get hurt, that much is inevitable, but Martin was apparently carrying an injury into the France match, if I've read posts here rightly, so why did he start?

Its one thing in the World Cup but in the 6 nations its just poor from Steve

Martin was limping a lot after 60 minutes v Ireland, was a doubt v France and played on after taking a couple of heavy knocks but had loads of strapping.
It’s a shame for us that in a shortened season we will be missing 5 of our first choice pack!
I just hope the A1 road works let us get up to support the Tigers.
Car washed Ian, tyres pumped for extra passengers....hope Tigers are too
Let's hope there are NO passengers in the Tigers' side tomorrow.
Fair play to Dimes; he's wringing everything he can out of the little he has.

Sorry. Perhaps a translation?
So sorry about down to bare bones of fit players for the back 5
Thanks RG

I wonder if some of the injuries to say Martin, are ones that *could* be played through, but with this being our last artificial surface of the season, we decided not to risk it..
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

DM speaking beforehand said that absentees were for a mixture of reasons, some injured, some rested and some ‘beaten up after the six nations’ and it’s a case by case basis.

Makes a bit of a joke of availability doesn’t it- majority of our England players are not fit for the run in,

Also makes depth important.
People underestimate how long it can take to recover after international games.

Zero incentives for having Internationals.
