Heyes throwing up lethargic last weekend.
Pollard pulling out ill
Loads of players looked a few percent off it today

If they were under the weather fair play for digging 2 points out of it.

If they were fully fit and firing then for me it's our conditioning coach that concerns me more than attack coach.
I think it’s got to be illness.. lads looked off the pace, slow on the chase, slow to the breakdown, nobody up supporting Kata often when he made a break exact perhaps the SH.. I think there’s something going round the team..

On a more positive note I thought Kata looked class once again. Very exciting player and a nailed on starter for me in the centre. Bring on the Kata/Perese era! And another huge positive tonight was JvP.. has to start from now on.. looked very sharp

We were outplayed in the back 3 - Reffell was anonymous by his standards, Wiese trundled but didn’t really impose himself and cost us at the end with a lazy penalty that ultimately led to the final try.

Kelly was dreadful and our wingers just don’t look like they’ve got any X factor at all.

Worrying times
Agree about Kelly and can’t see where he fits next season. The gameplan is obviously a more direct 12. So Kata / Cokanasiga.

So we’ve shifted him out to 13 where he’s not played since Ireland U20s. I’m just hoping with some more time there he can get better.

When I saw the team I thought we’d dominate up front, but unfortunately I think playing Cole, chissem and raffell was a mistake they looked tiered and no where up to their level which meant we looked short in the forwards. Left weise carrying one out every time running into 3 men with no other ball carriers. Kata was easily our best player lost something when he went off. Think we need a proper 2nd choice 10 shilcock is good 15 but needs a player like scott with him to help with decision making. Think cockanasiga needs to start over Kelly next week seem to make things happen as where Kelly seems so short of confidence. Great to have jvp back looked good for how long he’s been out, hayes also added of the bench.
Got up win every game with a bonus point now even if we don’t make the top 4 at least it would show some attacking intent would also like to see more academy player in the match day squad now. Again that will be something to gain from the season, mcKeller seems very reluctant to give young players time, which was one of the real legacy’s of borthwick time.

Too much aimless kicking with no urgency in the kuvk chase. Too much playing to a plan when heads up rugby sometimes need to come into play. Gaps appeared but not seeing it as readying for kicks.
Not an advert to encourage season ticket holders to renew for next season. Sadly no progress made Iver last few years....we'll be smashed embarrassingly in Ireland.
Last week McKellar talking 3 trophies....:smt022 struggling to hit top 4

Sarries play Quins tomorrow. As it stands we're a point off one and two points off the other, both teams you'd expect to be in the mix for the playoffs. We could still catch them, we've just got to improve. We were certainly better tonight than we were last week.

Possibly, but there is a good chance we end this weekend within one win of the top 4... we're currently 2 points off 2nd, less than 10 points off the leader...

Wow....realy raising the bar there. I'm resigned to a 5th or 6th finish. I may be surprised. But I doubt it.

5th or 6th finish I reckon. I may be wrong.

Quite possibly, I think 3rd-6th now...

Going in to today we had it in our hands to be top 2, think that is beyond us, but with the fixture list still to come for some of the others we are still well in a top 4 hunt

I thought Youngs was very average tonight.
JVP speeded things up but sadly got charged down twice.
Has Bassett lost pace, seemed very slow tonight?
