Not much of a risky bet that really...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

We need a centre with pace and a loose head who can scrum. Therefore I’m a happy man.

So you are happy with no Wiese replacement?

Fissler does mention that we are still in the market for an 8

No- not at all. Just meant that we need both these positions and we’ve got them so happy days.

These are the quotes on the Tiges side of things which looks promising from my point of view...
Leicester boss Dan McKellar has moved to strengthen his squad for next season with the double signing of NSW Waratahs outside centre Izaia Perese and Wales loosehead Nicky Smith.
McKellar hasn’t finished his spending yet as it’s understood that he has got a No8 in his sights
So looks promising on that front if the info is good...

Hope we're announcing this week... Rumours normally get this strong close to the announcements...

Not seen much of Perese so had a little look online.. looks like a quality signing and an exciting player.. looking forward to seeing him slot into our back line:

IMHO our weaknesses at the moment (with a view to next year) are LH prop, centre, No 8 and possibly wing (in terms of pure pace) so I am really happy to see these players potentially coming in. With having to pay the young and upcoming players more, I just hope we have enough in our cap for what we need, despite the cap being raised.

From the YouTube Videos, Perese looks like a very exciting player with real power, in a Teflon kind of way. As good as Scott is, Perese seems like a real game changer, something which we need in the backs.

Perese, 26, who was a member of Eddie Jones Wallabies World Cup squad, has now signed for Tigers and will be joining when his contract with Rugby Australia runs out later this year.

Smith, 29, who has played over 180 games since joining the Ospreys in 2012, has exercised an exit clause in his contract that he signed to stay with his hometown region last May.
Before we get too hot under the collar, where has this come from please?
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….
