I have been a Tigers supporter for many many years but have only just realised that I have no idea why YBY nickname is Lenny.
Can anyone clarify for me please?

His nickname is Lenny and he told Rugby World: “I wish I had a story for it but I’m the youngest of 28 first cousins and we all have the same sort of nickname – Benny became Lenny and it stuck. Everyone calls me that now.”

Thanks for that. I was hoping for something more interesting like he picked it from Lenny the Lion when he played for the Lions. Never mind
