The All Blacks have played at Welford Road against the Midlands, I saw Graham Mouries side in the '70's
I remember watching NZ play Italy at Welford Road in the 1991 World Cup.

Me too. Italy ran them close if I remember and was my first sight of the great Michael Jones

The next 7 weeks for Tigers...

2nd/3rd/4th Feb BYE
Fri 9th Feb away vs Nottingham (friendly)
Sun 18th Feb away vs Ealing PRC Semifinal
Sun 25th Feb England A vs Portugal (Tigers Bye)
1st/2nd/3rd March BYE
8th/9th/10th March BYE
Fri 15th March Possible PRC final

There's a lot of bodies to rest, but also a lot of players without gametime.

If we lose vs Ealing you have to think we'd look for another friendly instead of the final, maybe even one as a tune up for the final
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Now we have reached the final, I do wonder if we may want a tune up for the final?

We have shown (Bristol game following wholesale rotation vs Bedford & Exeter game following wholesale changes vs Stade) that we do not return well following a break
