Decent recovery in the 2nd half. Long way from the finished article.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Freddie Steward was a saviour for England under the high ball again and a break at the end, take Tommy Reffell out of the Welsh side and they didn't offer a lot really. That England defence will get shredded by a side that knows what they are doing.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.
Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
I thought Tommy did more in defeat than Earl did in victory.

Did I tell you I don't like Earl?

Same 'offence' against Steward earlier not given. Steward landed on back and received treatment.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 6:37 pm Ford got very lucky there, clearly played the man in the air

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
was that the one with Dyer? if so Dyer had his arms up to catch the ball and was just beaten to it, Ford basically just pushed him as he was landingNofrontteeth wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 6:44 pmSame 'offence' against Steward earlier not given. I thought Ford just stopped running. He didn't take him in the air. What's Ford supposed to do? Vaporise?

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Pack looks pretty solid and probably would’ve got some more scrum penalties on another day. Actually like Roots at 6, brings some much needed physicality.
Backs are all over the place. Dingwall / Slade together for another week but something feels off. Lawrence comes straight back in for me.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Still not convinced Dingwall is what England need at 12. Other than the try I only noticed him missing tackles.
I thought Steward had his best game for a while, needs longer studs though.
Pack fronted up well, but probably need a brute like Martin in there.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
don't think they mesh as a pairing in the centres, sadly we haven't had a world class centre since Manu was in his pomp, a fit Lawrence comes closest for me but the 13 shirt is up for grabs

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
on the pack I wish Steve had decided to give Barbeary or Mercer the 6N to try and nail down the 8 shirt, Underhill has barely played this season and looks well off the pace, one of those at 8 with Earl to 7 would be a really nice back row
Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
If you pick Martin, in which position and who do you leave out?
Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Nah....where else is he to go? Not as bad as North landing on Tommo back.in the day.....and we were up in arms about that.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 6:37 pm Ford got very lucky there, clearly played the man in the air
