I can see the feeling behind objecting to the use of the Aviva for a semi-final involving Leinster and I'm no supporter of EPCR but in practice where else could they hold it ?
Thomond Park ? Not very big; only 26,000; only 7,000 more than the RDS. A shame to move so many fans across Ireland like that.
Ravenhill ? No hedges but the same capacity as the RDS.
Croke Park ? 82,000 capacity is good. I wonder whether the GAA would allow it and - if they did - how much they would charge for it knowing that the EPCR were giving the Leinster Branch no option.
Anyway, you'll be looking to ensure that this is a purely theoretical debate !
