I'm really hoping that Racing scrum half, Nolan Le Garrec, gets more than 5 minutes at the end of the game to be properly tested at international level, because I'm convinced he has the potential to keep Antoine Dupont on his toes!

15. Ramos ; 14. Penaud, 13. Fickou, 12. Danty , 11. Moefana ; 10. Jalibert, 9. Lucu ; 7. Ollivon, 8. Alldritt (cap.), 6. Cros ; 5. Willemse, 4. Gabrillagues ; 3. Atonio, 2. Mauvaka, 1. Baille

Remplaçants : 16. Marchand, 17. Wardi, 18. Aldegheri, 19. R. Taofifenua, 20. Woki, 21. Boudehent, 22. Le Garrec, 23. Bielle-Biarrey.
In the absence of Dupont, Mauvaka to be man of the tournament I reckon.
Mauvaka is a helluva player and is now in the starting XV instead of the replacement for another helluva player Julien Marchand!

This has now been confirmed. Tuilagi is « only » 1m92 so is hardly likely to be a line out threat (as I mentioned earlier, it’d take a forklift truck to get his 145 kgs off the ground) but with ball in hand it’ll take more than one Irish defender to tackle him.
No lineout threat but presumably made up for by lineout options in the back row?
Yes, Charles Ollivon is your man in the back row, and Cameron Woki off the bench.

If I'd have said 'oop them bluuues' I would have meant Scotland. But I'll take an Italy win against the other home nations as well!!

So Allez Les blues & Via il Azzurri!

I think you enjoy the game more if you don't know the rules. Anyway, you're on the same wavelength as the referees.

Lucu is having a shocker in Dupont’s absence. Will Galthié have the balls to bring on the promising Le Garrec?
