Interesting that his move to Racing will team him up with his best mate Arundell

Looking at who’s around I don’t know who they would go for. New Zealand 10s tend to either stay at home or go to Japan. Australia haven’t really got a 10 of sufficient quality. South Africa are holding onto their young players and we’ve got Pollard, and the French stay in France.
I wonder if they may look to play Goode at 10 for a season and sign a project
I'm not sure they can go for a huge name - I would imagine they will now use the marquee spot to keep Itoje.

A couple of Irish 10's have been speculated, Carbery and Jackson. I think either would work well for them.
Hasn’t Itoje agreed a hybrid contract or am I imagining that
I don't think any have been confirmed yet, but I'm sure his name will be top of the list. I doubt that would make replicating his current £800k plus England match fees possible without being marquee though. Or do they still get match fees on top of the hybrid contract salary? Either way, £160k from RFU still means Sarries are having to stump up at least £640k to maintain his earnings, so probably marquee territory even with the increased cap.

They lost sponsors when all the wage cap stuff broke, can’t see them wanting to risk that again

Apparently the Sarries CEO denied the Jackson rumoured at a fan Q&A, pointed to the investment in the women's team and how he wouldn't would fit with the Sarries values. Pretty strong denial so I'd assume that makes it a non-stater.

No it isn't, but they did sign Taniela Tupou. Wouldn't say no if he's looking for a new club.

Did anyone else catch Danny Care being told that Klopp is leaving Liverpool. He said he hasn’t got anything to do next season, I hadn’t heard him announce his retirement

Sheedy to Cardiff sounds very much on. Means Bristol will need to recruit as they can't rely just on 34 year old McGinty.

Sarries linked with a second raid on Falcons youngsters with Louie Johnson said to have an offer on the table.
