Wrong again. It would have been a draw.Greenwhiteandred wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:37 pmWe dominated ….. I agree but you shouldn’t endanger half yoy dominated 10-7, don’t you get my point …. We should have been 20 points ahead at HT not 3 and then we wouldn’t be celebrating winning by someone else’s mistake because if he kicks it, like he should, we’ve lost that. Thankfully he missed it.Pellsey wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:33 pmAt the very least, he owed us for his mistake in the first half... a half we dominated btw.Greenwhiteandred wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:32 pm I’m taking that - a win is a win, poor H1 and that kick (and that Foley decision ) saved us

Completely agree with everything here!markharbtiger wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:46 pm Quins were poor - especially in the first half. Plenty of things for us to improve. But four points is four points.
Mike Brown scoring in front of Quins fans was the highlight for me! Well done Tigers

We were lucky with the kick but all the pundits agreed at the end we should have won on the balance of play and I agree. We controlled territory and defended very well for large periods.WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:40 pmWe didn't so much 'win' it as Quins lost it.Tigers86asw wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:32 pm We deserved to win the game and win did. Just. Well done Dan McKellar.
we had some glimpses of brilliance to balance out the brainless today, but still got lucky at the end.

Erm check your facts mate -19-20 unless World Rugby have made a conversion 1 point they get 2 points and win. So I haven’t been wrong yet and definitely not again so arguably you are wrong again Still want to have what you are drinking.Pellsey wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 9:47 pmWrong again. 1st Quins try should have been a penalty to us at the ruck. Poor box kick resulted from pressure from an off side player, who never retreated behind the ruck before charging Whiteley. So, really, Quins were lucky to be so close.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

No.
We won that.
Countered their rush defence by going wide quickly in the first half.
A couple of soft penalties nearly cost us.
Our 4th choice TH did ok but our pack did ok and the ref wasn't going to let them milk penalties. Can't blame Youngs for the last scrum it was coming back until one of the pack kneed it forward.
Why the league should be playing matches when sides have so many players out for scheduled England matches makes a nonsense of the match for both sides.

I don’t think anyone thought we’d win this- away to the team 2nd in the league. We negated their strengths really well and won. With a shed load of players missing. Bit surprised to read the negative comments
