Harry Mallinder is joining the same pathway scheme as LRZ. He has registered as a kicker/punter

As is George Smith the 6ft9 Coventry lock. Be a great chance for that lad to make some serious money.

Seems like Gloucester have waited too long to get Steve Diamond in, after rumours they were waiting for the severance package with Skivington to drop...

Newcastle have appointed Steve Diamond

Have to have some sympathy for Codling, stepped into a club with the lowest budget and worse playing squad in the premiership, and didn’t see his French based family for over 4 months.

Diamond won’t take any prisoners so have a feeling this might be a make or break 6 months for Falcons

Suddenly next week becomes more interesting with a pretty much full strength Falcons side under Diamond against a massively depleted Saints team.

Now confirmed.

About as good an appointment as they could hope for, I think.

Bath close to signing Jacques du Plessis, would be gutted he's player I think would be great for our depth.

If they can get him on the pitch, then yes. A brilliant player before the injuries. There was a period where Montpellier had a strong international 6/lock who was available all season. He was arguably the closest thing to PSdT but the Boks just didn't need him. He's only made 7 apps that I can find in the last 3 seasons though. For the right price I'd still be happy for Tigers to take the gamble. There's a huge upside if you can get him fit, he's exactly the sort of physicality I'm hoping we can add to the squad.

Gossip has it that Lam has lost the Briz dressing room and Sinkler won't be the last to walk away.
"If you want entertainment, go to the theatre," says Edinburgh head coach Richard Cockerill. "Rugby players play the game to win.15/1/21.

Even on there fan board there is a subject of Lam leave or be sacked, they are all calling for him there to go, makes quite good reading.
