So his defence should therefore be better…I dont blame him for Skelton running over him but in that passage he was found wanting more than once. All came from a poor read from Chessum in midfield.
Not sure anybody would have stopped Skelton from there.
Even he can't run without his legs
He would run with 10 players around his legs, especially backs.

From 5yds he can just about flop over even if he’s tackled - running at full pelt you’ve got little to no chance

its not the Skelton tackle people are referring to, that said Skelton shouldn't have been on the field to score that try, it was less than 10 mins after his cynical penalty which Brace didn't bother binning him for. if that cynical penalty wasn't a yellow no cynical penalty should ever be a yellow again...

Obviously an over-exagguration, but he would certainly run with a couple of backs on his legs.

They get away with all sorts at the breakdown. It’s a free for all for them.

Tigers have done ok but we miss Pollard. They’ve put Shillcock under pressure and we, again, look limited in attack.

Skelton should have been sin binned but what a dominant performance. He’s a man mountain.

They are going after Cronin at the scrum now and getting results. We looked good at the scrum in the first half. He needs to come off.

It hard to win a game when you have little or no penetration in attack whilst the opposition punch holes in your back line for fun.
