The club HAS confirmed he's injured. What they haven't said is when he'll be back (which is certainly their perogative to do)
Of course it might be that they don't know exactly when he'll be back.

Well I do not recall Porter saying "I'll be back" :smt003

Lest we forget what we're missing when he's fit and in form.

Very short article. Says super rugby side eyeing him as he has a release clause in his contract.

Well I wish him well but if he goes don't waste money on anymore sicknote players

16 games last season, 30 the year before and 14 the year before that whilst he was still trying to break into the side. An average of 20 games a season. Not what I'd call a sick note, he's just injured currently.

Why is it whenever a player is injured they are a sick note? Ridiculous.

Might not be a bad time to replace him,top player at his best but his forms fell off a cliff. Nowhere near the player he was

Never said Porter was a sicknote player I was referring to any replacement. As in the past we signed a number who were well past their best and/or were sicknotes

it did sort of seem you were referring to Porter, if he leaves you'd assume Steve has told him he's not going to pick him

If he leaves cause Borthwick told him he isn't in his England plans then Steve shouldn't have picked him over Moroni...

speaking of Newcastle like to let players leave early any potential replacements there, slightly younger than Moroni if possible?

Unless he is clairvoyant no way was Borthwick going to know what was to transpire in the future.

Would be nice to sign Radwan
Radwan and OHC on the wings to never get the ball would be something.
