decision making still not quite there, it'll come, but Reffell needed to hold onto that instead of going for the offload, was never our throw but they stole it anyway

Nice to see we're varying the attack a lot more this weekend. A simple pass before contact just asking questions of the Bath defence. Might not be making inroads yet but as the game goes on and the Bath forwards tire it could help.

Bath LH needs a yellow for that knee slide on Brown as he scored

I was a little surprised with the alignment of the back 3 I would have thought it would have been

11 Simmons
14 Steward
15 Brown

as Simmons if left footed and we've seen Freddie at 14 many times, but its working well so far fair play

Apart from that intercept and De Glanville's run we've looked completely in control.

Commentators saying it's Brown's first start on the wing, but he definitely had a brilliant performance starting with 11 on his back when England destroyed the All Black's in 2012.

Wings and full backs do the same thing these days, it doesn't matter who has which number on his back these days (in the back 3) IMO.

they really need to change the law about blocking, if you aren't trying to catch the ball or run back in a straight line you should be offside

I really like the look of Simmons. He is certainly an alternative to the OHC / Bassett / Watson type of player. He is smaller, sure, but has serious pace and agility.

the others are fast but Simmons is rapid a genuine alternate option.
