The French don't really care about the European stuff unless they make it deep into the knock-out stages
Even though they have won it a lot of the last few seasons?!!
Look at the group stages attendances...
I wish we cared the same and still won it!

Agree on the wishing we'd win it, not so much on the wishing we didn't care about it until late into the run.
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

We have been recently, especially last week, but certainly not on today's performance.

We still only put our 2nd out last week. Maybe we should do the same against Bath!!

They cannot do worse than that circus act we put out today.

I bet the players will be kicking themselves though from today and have a serious point to prove... At least, you would hope!

Too many key players still missing: Clare, Dolly, Vanes, the very underrated Scott, Hassel Collins, JVP, Cronin, Hanro( thought we’d miss him as I don’t think he’s ever had a big game!)
No one does well at Sandy Park.
The next two games will really tell us more. If we want to get any chance of top 4 we need two wins, ugly will do.
Lastly, the coaches need patience to get the continuously changing team to settle.
Look at Bath and Exeter last season and now this!
I do however believe we need a top class backs coach: Mike Catt is leaving Ireland.

High quality clowns or low quality jugglers, you decide...

I think we need an attack rather than a backs coach. Modern attack moves involve everyone with the possible exception of the 2 props. If we think we can run move A from the play book and get a score from a defence like Exeter played today I think we will be disappointed.

Catching drill need to be done under some greater defensive pressure. Trotting around catching it in practice is not the same as under pressure and we were pitiful at that today.

Only JVP, Scott, and Hanro would have been included today though. When your 10 is not on form, and you don’t get the bounce, then today happens....

Please not Mike Catt, he kicked ball away more than Rob Andrew. :smt045

TBH, I think we might be missing somebody like sir Kev who motivates people. This is where we are 2nd best at the moment. We are not going out on the pitch wanting blood. Maybe this is a job for the head coach, but this needs to change. It feels like we are a pack of show Golden Retrievers rather than Tibetan Mastiffs or Dobermanns.

Will be interesting to see if Catt can repeat the tricks he showed with Ireland elsewhere or whether he was just handy at getting a few players to integrate into what was largely the Leinster side.

We definitely need someone to come in and bring something different. Ideally over the 6N period so we can build over the international break.
