I'm glad I didn't make the trip to Sandy Park for this. Earlier in the season I was seriously considering getting the coach down as £38 each didn't look too bad. However when I looked at match tickets they were £75 each! So for me plus girlfriend that's over £220 before any refreshments! A bit steep

For me, a day when we were not agressive enough, did not have enough drive, were not skillfull enough, were not cohesive enough, literallly did not get the bounce of the ball or some of the 50:50 decisions. Probably in that order.

Onwards and upwards for next week. We can not be worse than today. Hopefully this game will be just a good kick in the man parts to motivate us.

I do not see anyone actually blaming the ref. Sir was ok, as sirs go. We did not have the rub of the green with him, that’s all.

Sounds like I’ve missed a shocker, actually glad to miss out watching a tigers game for a change haha!
Not sure how we can win away at Stade last week then get mullered like that today in every department. :smt017 Was it because stars were rested, hence rusty or were Chiefs so much better?

They were both rusty and poor. Chiefs played well.

Well, glad I did not shell out my cash for a ticket and fuel to go to Exeter. What a load of utter dross. For me our so called ‘stars’ (Weiser and Steward excepted) need to take a long hard look at themselves, they were awful.

We are going backwards, no grunt going forward, no penetration, basic handling skills absent (again), gifting scores and territory to the opposition.

Next time out against a resurgent Barf we will need to massively up our game, or we will be stuffed better than the turkey sitting in my fridge.

Chiefs wanted it more and we were second best in every aspect of the game

Festive sell out home game will do that for you, more often than not.

The French don't really care about the European stuff unless they make it deep into the knock-out stages
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

Unfortunately, I stopped watching after about 30mins. I don't like to criticise (as I most certainly couldn't do any better myself) but that's poor and I suspect puts us out of the top 4 this year.
With all the quality and experience (many internationals) in our squad I was hoping for something a bit better this year than being in 8th place by Christmas.

Even though they have won it a lot of the last few seasons?!!

Definitely not unfortunate to have missed the rest of that.

I had been hopeful of getting in amongst the "traditional" European qualifying places after a couple of, what might now have to be considered fluke, good results but now I'm not sure we won't be getting a third attempt at the old Amlin Cup next season...

Look at the group stages attendances...

This won’t be well received but we are nowhere near Top 4 material.
