More to come, but maybe they'll string it out over the next few days.

Lenny, Montoya and Pollard would be nice. Is it too early to expect new signings

New signings can now be whenever, the rules on waiting till Jan to open negotiations are gone so they can be done any time.

I'd imagine it'll just be re-signings at this point in the year. Could be (hope I am!) wrong.

I hope you meant re-signing? :smt040 I nearly had a heart attack then. :smt040

I do agree, though. As much as Wiese is a loss, without Pollard and Montoya we would be in real trouble - they are both absolute cornerstones.
Similar here. I read the news on Martin as resigned not re-signed!
:smt044 I've had a few heart in mouth moments from that before. Definitely re-signed!

Martin deal described as "Multi-year"
Heyes deal described as "long term"

Both of those descriptions make me very happy.

I think locking down our quality, home-grown, talent will be priority one.

I do agree it’s how Dynasties are formed and no matter what else Saracens have done, they have been very successful at that.
Martin knocking on the door of world class, Heyes still young to develop from a quality premiership prop to a regular international

Wonder how this will work going forward as you have to think that Martin will be a key member of the England team. Will it be compulsory for players in the core squad to be on hybrid contracts or will it be a mix.

Just wondering if the early sign up news we are getting may be more than simply Xmas cheer and may also be a pre-emptive strike to ensure that we retain maximum control over our players.

Agree with all of this, with the add-on that a constant at the "top" is why Sarries have been so successful on all fronts for a number of years. McCall is there - other coaches may leave (Sanderson etc) but he's there, driving the standards etc - something which we haven't had at Tigers. It's a rare thing mind, a DoR who stays at club for as long as he has.
