Very true my point was that they weren’t having to wait fo scheduled flightsLE18 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 12:24 pmThey always fly back straight after the game, no hanging around.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 10:03 am 22 games without losing at Sandy Park now, in all competitions. As previously mentioned it is going to be a real battle but we have the squad to do the job.
Slightly related I noticed that the team flew to Stade in a turbo prop plane so I’m assuming that was a charter with a view to getting the lads back as quickly as possible after the game

Can't decide whether I want the dual carry option of Hatherall/Wiese, or the dual jackal of Ilione/Reffell.

Strongest team available, for me.
Hanro can have nearly 2 months off from 27th January if required, as can the rest of the non-6N players.
I would imagine it will be another mixed 23 for the La Rochelle game as well.

So it does. Tigers app doesn’t have it on TV, but I’ll take that.

Don’t blame me
They have added more games as there are 3 less sides so it is possible

I am a fan who lives in Sydney aust , what gets me is the way every one on this forum makes such a big thing about resting players , down under our NRL goes for 27 weeks and 95 % of players barring injury play every round and the nrl is a faster and more demanding. Must players want to be there every week , I realise that the powers that be demand that rep players have to stand down every so offend , but this is just my spin , would love to hear any views .cheers all and have a merry Xmas and a happy new year , go the TIGERS

Bp…spot on I agree, I’ve been banging on about this for years. With recovery, light training and physios, every player is monitored and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t play every game, and they’ll want to I’m sure.Bptiger25 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 11:02 pm I am a fan who lives in Sydney aust , what gets me is the way every one on this forum makes such a big thing about resting players , down under our NRL goes for 27 weeks and 95 % of players barring injury play every round and the nrl is a faster and more demanding. For a start that's League. I don't watch lots but pretty sure there is not much rucking, mauling or scrummaging - so generally a lot less physical in that sense.
Also, do NRL players have a lot of international matches, camps, tours?

Yes they have a 3 match series that runs for 6-8 weeks if ur picked u can’t play the week before with ur club they also have a month long test series at the end of the comp .
