That was my thought, re Illione, we have seen without Reffell this season we get nothing at the breakdown (& dont win the game), 2x12's in the centre not great either.
The short turn round to the Chiefs game obviously coming into play plus injuries.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

What' ??? I can stuff my suggestion where the sun never shines??? You mean you are taking us SERIOUSLY??? OOooooooh :smt009 Mean Tigers!!! Brutes! Brutes!

See you at the Pub, 4 rue Caron 75004, métro Saint Paul. Jayz, gonna be a tough one.
I don't know too much about the Stade team how strong is the team they have picked?
Stade picked the strongest possible team, with a few question marks though.

1) Castets (loosehead) is back from injury and visibly lacked game time at Sharks. He is supposedly a great #1, slightly better than his replacement the always cheerful Moses Alo-Emile (Brother of #3, Paul Alo-Emile)

5) Pesenti : great lock. Has a fiery temper. I often pray it's not a red card.

9) Zabalza : a very nice dude, but failed to impress so far. His fellahs Kockott (South African turned French) and Brad Weber are spared for Top 14. Hope he proves me wrong.

14) Hamdaoui. Has had some impressive moment as a full back. Newly re positioned at the wing. Let's hope for the best.

Voilà mon ami. :smt002

Not everyone’s choice, but a strong side still with 8 capped players along with Liebenberg and OHC who are good enough.

Don’t get the down on Rogerson he is very steady and may fit our game plan.

Would think we can get something out of this game.

I'm not anti-Rogerson but I am against not playing someone who can really threaten the breakdown and cause issues. As is stands the best jackler in the starting pack is probably Harry Wells. Not an ideal position to be in.

It’s a very fair point. From what little I’ve seen Vanes is pretty good over the ball, and haven’t really seen enough of Hatherall.
I do wonder if Ilione medical studies get in the way of him starting. It is quite clear that he has the talent and the physicality

Apologies, quite right. In which case, erm Liebenburg is our breakdown threat?

I would have started with Ilione at 7 in the starting 15, been superb in the breakdown so far this year.

Let's hope there aren’t any breakdowns then haha...

Illione is on the bench for that though..

Agreed, I feel we've struggled without the breakdown threat. Disappointing that Ilione doesn't seem to get much of a chance, he's looked to add something when he's come on.

Maybe we are looking to defend without attacking the breakdown. There are teams that do defend like this choosing to counter ruck when the opposition is under resourced.

In other words there is more than one way to skin a cat

OHC got a couple of caps in this year’s 6 Nations. :smt023
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Interesting selection. Personally, I think it's spot on: rotated players with a strong side, but at the same time giving some of our stalwarts a bit of a rest.
COYT!
